Message templates
Reusable messages you can send again and again — WhatsApp templates need approval before use, email templates don't.
Why this matters
WhatsApp requires every business message template to be pre-approved, so a campaign can't be sent with brand-new, unapproved wording — this protects you from having a campaign silently rejected. Templates also just save you from writing the same message from scratch every time.
How templates work
WhatsApp templatesSubmitted for approval before they can be used in a campaign or automation — once approved, reusable indefinitely.
Email templatesNo approval needed — build and use immediately, searchable and filterable by category.
Creating a template
- Open Manage Templates
Inside the WhatsApp or Email tab.
- Write your message
Use placeholders like a client's name where useful.
- Submit (WhatsApp only)
WhatsApp templates go through approval before use.
- Reuse it
Once ready, select it whenever you send a campaign or set up an automation.
An expired or rejected WhatsApp template is the most common reason a campaign silently doesn't go out — keep templates current and re-approved if their wording changes.
