Building a campaign
A campaign needs an objective, a budget, and creative (a photo or generated image) — Slava fills in the rest of Meta's technical setup for you.
Why this matters
Meta's ad platform has dozens of objective types and settings built for large advertisers. This screen narrows it down to the handful of choices that actually matter for a local salon running its first — or fiftieth — ad.
What you'll set
ObjectiveWhat you want the ad to achieve — awareness, leads, or bookings.
BudgetYour daily spend — this has to be a real number above zero before Slava will publish the campaign.
CreativeUpload a photo, or generate one — plus the ad copy.
Creating a campaign
- Open Meta Ads → New Campaign
Start a fresh campaign.
- Pick your objective
Awareness, leads, or bookings, based on what you want out of it.
- Set your daily budget
Required before you can publish.
- Add creative
Upload or generate an image, and write or generate your ad copy.
- Set audience & radius
Covered in the next section.
- Publish
Sends the campaign live to Meta — status and spend start syncing back within a day.
A blank or zero budget is blocked before publishing rather than silently defaulting to a placeholder amount — you'll always know exactly what a campaign is set to spend.
