Approving self-booked appointments

If Auto-Confirmation is switched off in your booking settings, appointments clients book themselves through the QR check-in page don't go straight onto your calendar — they wait here for a quick yes or no.

Why this matters

Auto-Confirmation off gives you a checkpoint — useful if you want a human glance at every new booking before it's locked in, especially while you're still trusting the self-booking flow. The appointment already holds a real slot the moment it's requested, so you're not racing the clock.

How it works

A self-booked appointment sits in your queue with status Pending until you act on it:

ApproveConfirms the appointment — status moves to Booked, and it's locked onto the calendar.
DeclineCancels the request — status moves to Cancelled, freeing up that slot for someone else.

Approving or declining

  1. Open Bookings

Pending self-booked appointments appear alongside website requests.

  2. Review the details

Client name, service, and the time they picked.

  3. Approve or Decline

One tap either way — the client isn't left waiting once you've decided.

Want every self-booking to confirm instantly instead? Turn on Auto-Confirmation under Settings → Business → Booking Preferences.
