Approving new staff
Pending Approvals is where you confirm a staff member's very first login, and where recurring identity checks show up afterward.
Why this matters
A password alone can be shared or guessed. This extra confirmation step — and an optional face-scan check on top — makes sure the person logging in as your colorist is actually your colorist.
Two kinds of approval
New staffA one-time approval the very first time someone logs in with their new account.
Login verificationA recurring face-scan check for an already-active staff member, logging in again.
Both show the same way — name, role, and an optional selfie for you to confirm against — with a simple Approve or Decline.
Approving a request
- Check Pending Approvals
Shows at the top of the Staff view whenever there's something waiting.
- Review who's asking
Name, role, and photo if a face-scan was taken.
- Approve or Decline
Approve lets them in; Decline blocks that login attempt.
Only owners and managers see Pending Approvals — it's not visible to other staff roles.
