1The short version
AutoPay renews your Slava plan for you, so nothing lapses in the middle of a busy week. You approve it once at checkout with your bank or UPI app. After that, payments up to ₹15,000 are collected automatically on the due date until you stop it. For larger payments, such as an annual plan, your bank asks you to approve each renewal.
These steps follow the Reserve Bank of India’s e-mandate rules for recurring payments, which exist to keep you in control of your money.
3Limits and approvals
RBI rules let banks collect a recurring payment automatically only up to ₹15,000 per payment after your first approval. Above that, you must approve every payment. UPI recurring payments through our payment partner also stop at ₹15,000, and RuPay cards cannot be used for recurring payments above ₹15,000.
| Plan and billing | One payment | How renewal works |
|---|---|---|
| Studio, monthly | ₹1,999 | AutoPay UPI, card or netbanking |
| Pro, monthly | ₹4,499 | AutoPay UPI, card or netbanking |
| Studio, annual | ₹19,188 | You approve each year. Card or netbanking |
| Pro, annual | ₹43,188 | You approve each year. Card or netbanking |
The amounts above are today’s prices. Checkout always shows the exact amount and tells you which way your plan renews. If you prefer fully automatic renewals, choose monthly billing.
4Reminders before every payment
- Automatic payments: your bank or UPI app sends you a reminder at least 24 hours before each payment, showing who is charging you, the amount and the date.
- Payments you approve: your bank sends a reminder with a link to approve the renewal. We also show a notice in your Slava dashboard a few days before the due date.
- After each payment: your bank sends its usual alert and your invoice appears under Settings → Billing.
5Stopping AutoPay
- In Slava.Open Settings → Billing and choose Cancel plan (or Turn off next to AutoPay). You keep every feature until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing more is charged.
- In your UPI app or bank. You can also pause or revoke the standing instruction in your UPI app’s AutoPay section or in your bank’s mandate settings, whenever you like.
Stopping AutoPay is free and does not need a reason. Changed your mind within 14 days of a payment? You can ask for a refund instead.
6If a payment fails
- Billing shows Payment issue and a Fix payment button, so you can pay again straight away.
- Banks may retry a failed payment. Common reasons are low balance, an expired card or a daily limit.
- If a payment still cannot be collected, your workspace moves to the Free plan. Your salon data stays safe, and you can subscribe again at any time.
7Refunds
Every payment, including automatic ones, is covered by our 14-day money-back guarantee. Read the refund policy for the full details.
8Your data
Your card number, UPI PIN and bank login are entered only on your bank’s or our payment partner’s secure screens, never on Slava. We keep a record of your AutoPay authorisation: the plan, amount, the date and time you agreed, and the version of the text you saw. This record is shown only to your salon owner account.
9Questions people ask
Why is my annual plan not on AutoPay?
An annual payment is above ₹15,000. Under RBI rules your bank needs your approval for every payment of that size. Choose monthly billing if you want fully automatic renewals.
Can I use UPI for the annual plan?
Not for recurring payments above ₹15,000. Pay the annual plan by card or netbanking, or choose monthly billing to use UPI.
Will I be charged without warning?
No. You approve the first payment yourself, and your bank or UPI app reminds you at least 24 hours before each automatic payment.
What if I cancel after I was charged?
Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and nothing more is charged. Within 14 days of the payment you can ask for a full refund instead.
Can the price change?
Your authorisation covers the amount you saw at checkout. We will not charge a different amount without your fresh approval.
